Online Ordination

Good morning Amy,
It's so good to finally receive this ordination and be empowered to marry people and I thought I'd respond to you this morning and tell you how much it means to so many besides myself.
A lot of people hold an online ordination in little regard but they don't understand the power that ULC offers ministers like me.  I've been a Pastoral Care Minister for 20 years now, with a special focus on ministry ot the short term, terminally ill.  My wife and I ran the largest ministry to The Sick in the Diocese of San Jose and we wrote and administrated a program to train ministers in the Catholic Church.  We had 97 ministers, 47 active each week in one little parish in Cupertino, CA.  Yup, it was a powerful and dynamic ministry!
As Catholics, there are many rules (some followed, some not) but the most difficult thing about being Catholic and hearing the strong call of God is that there are only two paths to ordination, priesthood or diaconate.  Neither path is right for me.  With ULC's empowerment of ordination, now my ministry can extend and I can be even more effective for others.
Thank you for what you do and please extend my sincere regards to everyone on your team in ULC.
God Bless,
Rev. Chad
